We are happy to announce that the government's response to the Barriers to Business report, titled Enabling Business, has been officially released. This pivotal document outlines the government's steps to address the challenges and opportunities highlighted by our business community.
Our CEO, Paul Murphy commented 'We extend our thanks to everyone who contributed to the Barriers to Business report through focus groups, one-on-one meetings, survey completion, and engagement. Your insights and feedback have been instrumental in shaping the government's approach to fostering a more conducive environment for business growth and innovation in Jersey.'
Since the publication of the Barriers to Business report, action has been taken on several of the 38 recommendations, with continued progress being made. Jersey Business and the Department for the Economy have established monthly meetings to ensure ongoing advancement on these recommendations.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Barriers to Business report through focus groups, one-on-one meetings, survey completion, and engagement.
